Docent / Volunteer Programs
If you like people and animals, Wildlife Safari is the place for you to invest your time and energy and have a WILD time doing it!
Volunteer Teams:
Wildlife Safari Volunteer Teams perform various functions around the park after appropriate training by the staff, including the following:
  • Tour Guide
  • Animal Watch
  • Preparing animal diets
  • Working with the animals (Education)
  • Helping with special events
  • Train conducting
  • Staffing information booths
Docent Program:
To become a Wildlife Safari docent, there are severval requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must be able to put in at least 10 hours a month
  • You must be able to attend (2) docent meetings a month
The Docents meet every Monday morning at 9:00am in the White Rhino Event Center. All you have to do is show up! Docents will greet you and inform you on WHAT IS NEXT to be a Wildlife Safari Docent.
Volunteers and Docents are essential to the Wildlife Safari. Let's work together to make a difference!
