The Education Department at Wildlife Safari works with schools and other organizations to add value to their classrooms and learning programs.
Our Purpose
Wildlife Safari is dedicated to educating both children and adults not just in Douglas County but all of our visitors from around the world.

Offerings include ...
  • Fieldtrips to Safari: build your own ZooSchool
  • Academic Outreaches:  working with schools, scouts, churches, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Headstart, and more!
  • Community Outreaches: locally at fairs, festivals, celebrations
  • Job Shadow: real world learning for junior and seniors in high school
  • Camps: various age groups, various topics explored, available during all extended school breaks
  • Overnights at Camp Tiki
  • Volunteering: Summer Ambassador Training program
  • Homeschool Program
