Wildlife Safari’s Education Department offers a series of classes for homeschool students ages 6-14. Classes are held twice a month. These classes provide an exciting field trip to the Wildlife Safari, while the students learn their lessons. This year our first two classes will cover General Zoology, especially animal classification and kingdoms.  These will lay the ground work for the rest of the classes, which will cover different animals/animal groups at the park in depth.  During the classes, we guide groups through the park and utilize animals from the drive-thru, Village, and Education.  Private encounters are held with Village and Education animals.  Along with animal encounters, our Education staff also gives a short classrooom lecture, which includes worksheets and crafts pertaining to the topic being taught.  Classes are held from 10 am - noon in the Education Classroom.

The cost is $7.00 a class for non-members and $5.00 a class for members.

Students must sign up ahead of time.
